I've had this cross stitch project on my scroll frame for something like 15-20 years, being worked on in spurts here and there. A couple weeks ago I needed to take my car in for service, and it was the only thing close to hand, so I grabbed it and took it with me to work on while I waited. And then... I just kept working on it. I only had the borders left to do. And now it's done. Finally!
It is Janlynn #015-0223, Old World Map, and the finished size is 18"x15". At some point I'm going to give it a gentle wash to remove the oils from my hands, cut some acid-free foam core to size and lace it on, and then wait for Michaels to have a sale on custom frames.
Another long-term project, finished.
