Kirsten's Kerchief

The first of the post-CoCo WIP finishes.  I felt it was ridiculous to pay eBay prices for an AG doll accessory I could make myself.  I asked on one of the Discord servers I'm on if anyone would be willing to give me the dimensions for Kirsten's handkerchief, and then grabbed one of my copious scraps of linen.  I pulled threads to make my outline (3.25" square) and tried to match sewing thread and embroidery floss to the dress it goes with.

I had to pull out and redo the cross stitches three or four times before I found the right spacing (~8mm per X).  On the back, the embroidery stitches are completely covered by the folded hem.  And I went just a touch better than the AG-made handkerchiefs because I mitered the corners and hand-sewed them closed rather than just folding the fabric.  Something about the little demon in the back of my head hissing "Standards," at me. ^_^
